About Robert Whitaker

Leading by serving others is how I do business and it is how Holly and I have always managed the life we have made together. God gave us two ears and one mouth. We must use them in that order and listen twice as much as we speak. This has brought me great success in business and I have gained even more valuable experience as your precinct 2 commissioner over the last few years. 

Agriculture and energy are staples in the Hansford County economy. Judge Glass, myself, and the other three commissioners are intent on keeping Hansford County's economic outlook strong by welcoming new opportunities while also keeping our property tax rates among the lowest in the Texas Panhandle. 

I work with our museum and historical society to ensure that our story is passed down to future generations. Sustainability of our farmlands, grasslands, and water resources is of the utmost importance to me and the landowners I represent. We all work together to apply the proper management of our county infrastructure to achieve this.
